AUTOMATIC MUSIC 'Music From Eden NC' - Automatic Music
The 2002 live music documented on this EP was recorded on the deck behind my house. Percussionist, Terry Lonegrin (Sun City Girls), joins us. A very drunk girlfriend insisted on climbing the mulberry tree out back, despite numerous warnings not to, and fell, breaking her wrist - effectively ending this recording session as we ran her to the hospital...dumb ass. Unlike our studio recordings, this is tribal and real, much like a drum-circle with folk instruments...

The frequencies (which also control the rhythm of vibrations) are controlled live using puredata software (puredata.info/)...

automated error music volume 1 - Nox
astonishing 'authorless' recording of a computer game in demo mode with wildly malfunctioning sound. "nox" posesses an incredible internal logic & impeccable sense of timing. human involvement in this recording is limited to the pressing of 'record'. record was press by andrew thomson, sometine in the year 2000. nox has been released in a couple of small cdr editions, the 1st featuring a unique collaged cover on each copy.

Unsound Machine #40 - Unsound
Unsound Machine is the name of the tape series and also the name of the feedback network that produces the tapes. Once we've set up our devices, they produce a neverending stream of unrepeating MIDI and audio signals without human interference. The output is recorded onto tape in 30-minute segments. We change the configuration between Side A and Side B of each 60-minute tape to give you more variety.Side A configuration:Quadraverb sample: "Frank Sinatra ist tot."Quadraverb GT setting: "pong"Kor...

Automatic Music Podcast Episode Six - Extreme Volume Pop
Friday the Thirteenth and Valentines Day fell back-to-back this year, so, in honor, we feature a drawing of that late lothario Richard Speck for our backdrop to this episode of the Automatic Music Podcast. For some more of Richard's Greatest Hits, you can always check out the Internet Crime Archive. Since love or romance is a pretty alien concept to us, we thought we'd feature some arousing tunes from Bonehole, My Lovely Figment, Night Gaunt, Phoned Nil Trio, Jliat, Knifeplay and My Damn Self...
